it has been coming down for two days straight! this morning, mr. o measured TWENTY-SIX inches! i haven't seen snow like this since childhood. (although, my childhood memory probably wasn't completely accurate!)
the only place we can even tell it's snowing is in front of the wood fence. everything is completely white, including the sky.
mr. o has stayed on top of the driveway and sidewalks with the snowblower, and that's where you can really see the depth.
even though he pulled an all-night overtime shift, he still came home this morning and (after digging out some neighbor's cars) built this awesome snow fort with the boys.what a guy!
so, i guess my last-minute christmas errands are going to have to wait.
it's nice in a way, this forced seclusion. it is so peaceful and quiet, and we're cosy inside our little house.
