you may remember me posting about my sister and her husband who were waiting to adopt- well, the magical day finally arrived and with it, my newest nephew!i can't describe how excited the whole family was, and i can only imagine kaarina & forrest's feelings throughout the experience.
all i can say is that adoption is truly a beautiful, amazing, miraculous blessing.
i love this little guy so much already and can't wait to get to know him better, although it will mostly be from a distance as they live in another state...
my sister mary and i were lucky enough to be able to visit and meet baby brighton at the same time, so we had to get a sister/baby picture! (our sister liesel has also had a baby in the last year, so we missed out having her & her little guy in this picture, too.)
it is so wonderful to see kaarina as a mother- she was meant for it!
