so, the farm we went to was a wheat farm and the lucky boys got to play in the truck full of wheat like a sandbox:
miles always seemed to have his mouth full of the stuff, but finn never did get a taste for it!
they had so much fun and got so dirty!
leo definitely didn't want in on the action- he hated the feeling of being in that wheat!
the boys' loved the farm so much, they kept talking about what kind of equipment they should buy for their (pretend) farm, and what they should plant.their pockets were full of wheat from playing, so when we got home we planted some of it on the little hill in our back yard,
and then sprouted some more inside, just for fun!

That truck full of wheat with the round aluminum granaries behind sure brought back memories of MY childhood! We loved playing in the big truckloads (although not THAT big, or with the automatic lift!). Too unstable for little Leo, I guess.
