so, i did get a few things done while on vacation. not as much as i'd hoped, but still...i had this image in my mind of all these boys holding their watch & bracelet adorned arms in a perfect little circle and holding still while i snapped away with the camera. this was as good as it got! someday i'll learn to adjust my expectations of little kids!
it was so much fun to have the ramsays with us in st. george, i am really glad they came with us! we were super lucky to have a very generous friend let us use his home. i know. lucky.

you should have seen me popping up over his fence in the back yard to get a picture of the neighbors pomegranate tree.

and i just have to say, that was a fun gun to shoot. it didn't kick too much & was semi-automatic (?) so when you fired again & again, flame came out at the end! yee-ha!
we had seen the fountains at bellagio before, but it was still totally cool. that's right. totally cool. miles was shouting "holy cow!" whenever they would shoot really high. (luckily we convinced him to substitute 'cow' for the other c word he picked up from somewhere...)
we also went back to the silverton casino with kaarina & forrest to see the huge aquarium. and we were just in time to see a scuba mermaid swimming with the fish. miles loved blowing kisses to her & interacting through the glass. he pretty much hogged her attention until she left! then he was playing with the scuba guy who was cleaning up in there.
so.. back to work. i am going to be asking some advice soon about pricing & stuff for the beehive bazaar, so be ready to help out! wish me luck on my mountain of sewing!
