i hope everyone had a good christmas.
i think ours was the best yet- the boys are old enough to be really excited, especially miles.
he really wanted a fire truck this year, and his reaction when he opened it was priceless.thanks, grandma & grandpa n!

miles was so excited about this etch-a-sketch, even though he saw me buy it at a thrift store.
and here are the boys wearing their awesome capes my oldest sister made for them. they are sure to have lots of fun with these for years to come!and this was just the morning of christmas. there were so many thoughtful gifts that we really appreciated- one in particular that deserves it's own post!
gifts and excitement aside, it has been especially great to see so much of our families.
mr. o has family in town from tokyo, japan and california, and i have a sister here from nevada. the ONLY one missing was my oldest sister's family from north carolina.
we are so grateful for family and for our health, our faith, and our new house! we can't wait to get in there, hopefully in time for the new year!

The boys with their new toys is such a sweet sight! I LOVE finns alien mask:) such a doll! Those capes are too cute, I want to make some now.
