lately

i was so happy to see my strong little flowers heaving up huge clods of dirt, making their way to the sun. i spent long hours last fall digging up enormous tangles of blackish-purple iris bulbs, and replacing them with yellow daffodils, red tulips, and some little grape hyacinths. it's always reassuring to see them growing! i am planning to put in some lily-of-the-valley bulbs this week, and i really need to pull some weeds! we are also very happy to see tiny green leaves on our aspen trees- hooray for spring!
the boys had a wonderful time at the annual easter egg hunt at their grandparents farm.
miles and finn fell asleep together during conference- so cute!
haircut time for leo (and miles). he squirted himself in the face while i cut= good deal.
finn got new (thrifted) stripey jams. boys in footie jams are so adorable!
i've also been super busy crafting for the spring bazaar, which is right after we get back from tokyo, getting ready for two spring birthdays (HAPPY BIRTHDAY to MILES tomorrow!), and making some little surprises for the boys for while we're gone. more to come on all those soon!

Hooray for spring!
p.s. How do you get time for all these wonderful blog posts with all your prepping?
(Or is that what keeps you sane in all of it?)
