some new spook

 despite my earlier grump, i've actually been having fun decorating for halloween this year. i've had to put a stop to my endeavors, though, when i suddenly realized how relatively short on time i am compared to what i need to get made for the holiday beehive bazaar coming up in close to six (short) weeks!

it was fun to paint a few simple creepy pictures. maybe next year i'll come up with a way to frame/display them. 

this mummy doll was fun and super easy. i just found a hard plastic doll at the thrift store, and wrapped it in torn gauze strips. easy + cheap! it just might be my new favorite.

my friend sarah also had the idea to take pictures of the boys making scary faces, and make magnets of their eyes, noses and mouths. fun!

now i've just got to finish up the boys' costumes, and it's go time for crafting for the bazaar!
