one more day

...until the bazaar! many thanks to all who've helped me get ready, i can't say how much i appreciated the boost. and my mom is coming over again today. i'd be lost without her.

so, a little tribute to my friend erin. i love this girl's style. i wish we lived closer, i miss our days in kansas as almost-next-door neighbors. and then in farmington when we were just 2 minuets away. we met at ikea a few weeks ago, and she had the cutest bag that she had appliqued a really cute felt flower onto. i loved it. i asked if i could copy her flower because i liked it so much and she said that i could, and that she had actually copied it from me! she was copying my button blossoms from my sachets:

but hers turned out so different- i wish i had a picture for comparison. and the funny thing is that when i was copying her copy, mine turned out so different from hers, too! individual interpritation is crazy. i loved how these turned out, though.

mr. o says they look like lollipop flowers. i want to make a whole garden of them for myself. but these sweeties will be available this weekend (starting tomorrow!) at the bazaar.

and just for clarification, i won't be there. i don't have to stay at my booth, but i am sure i will be there everyday. i won't be able to stay away. but don't plan on seeing me when you go (see how i said when and not if...) -you'll have to leave me a comment or write me an email and tell me how much you loved the show and how glad you are that you went and how much cool stuff you found! also, it's free to get in. i've had a few people ask about that, so i thought i'd clear it up.
