recycle love

we got back friday from a little trip with friends (more on that later) and were suprised with our new, much-anticipated recycling can!
spanish fork is just starting a new recycling program, and i can't tell you how happy that makes me. i have been carting our recycling to my parent's house for years now, so this saves me lots of work and clutter.
and (get this, mom!) i can recycle plastics numbered one through seven now, instead of just the one and two that orem takes.
call me crazy, but that just makes me giddy!
miles likes to help me by throwing things into the can. he's totally into garbage trucks as it is, so now he can be the 'garbage man'. luckily, recycling is clean and dry so they can play with it all they want.
the city originally said they needed 2000 households to sign up, and i was checking the progress online. things were looking pretty bleak, and after at least a year, they only had about 700. somehow, they got a contract anyways, and i am so glad!
any spanish fork residents reading this who've been missing out on the awesome fun recycling party can still sign up by calling 801-804-4501 or going to the city offices.

That is awsome eve. You are such a good example to me with recycling. Those are such adorable pictures of the boys with the recycling can. My favorite is the one of Miles peeking out of the can.
