lately
miles and i found ourselves alone one sunday afternoon a few weeks back, so we decided that a water fight was in order. so much fun!
a tractor in a spring orchard near our house, just begging to be photographed. in fact, i think they set it up like that specifically for a picture backdrop.
i made a strawberry shortcake for finn's birthday. it was beautiful, but tasted crappy. better luck next time!
little leo with his nose in the corner, for drawing all over our door. it's the cutest thing, so it's a struggle to control our smiles/laughter so he doesn't think it's a joke!
our yard had a record number of dandelions this year, much to the chagrin of our perfect-yard neighbor. it's been a big attraction to the kids walking home from school.
i didn't do so well at the beehive bazaar this show- from my estimate it looks like i made about half of my average profit. i knew i was taking a risk making more expensive things, and it didn't pay off. i'm glad i tried, though, i really enjoyed making everything. i also had the best trading experience so far, so that kind of made up for the lack of sales. i got some fabulous stuff that i'm really happy about, like this necklace, this shirt (only mine is silver), some cute earrings from her, a bag + earrings from her, and some cute stuff from her, her and her! i also bought some cool blue leather triangle earrings and a beautiful wooden triple chevron necklace, but it doesn't look like they'll be online. (whew, that was a lot of links!)
i love the bazaar, there are always lots of really awesome vendors. i already have some ideas for the holiday show!
