take this shirt, for example. i thrifted it ages ago, with the intention of making it awesome.
as you can see from the before picture (my hair has grown! and those pictures are framed!), this has been simmering for a long time! i finally finished this shirt, and i love it!
i "inherited" this zipper from my grandma, and had to sew it on the outside to fully showcase it's awesomeness. the pockets are made from a thrifted curtain, and i sewed some orange embroidery floss around the neck and sleeves.
the zipper really unzips (as leo likes to demonstrate) so this would've been awesome for nursing..
i kind of feel like i'm wearing a sign around my neck that reads "crafty" when i wear this, but that's okay!
