japan- part eight

this became a familiar little alley for us in tokyo- it was the way home! i loved that we were walking so much, and it was awesome the first time we made it back by ourselves.

some kanji on the street on the way home. we wanted to remember some of the little things we saw every day that became landmarks for us.

here is where we stayed- our wonderful families' house! the bamboo you can see was tiny when we got there- it grows like mad! more of that in the next post, though..

this is roppongi crossing, in the district where ryan and jen live.

and here is *ryan's office building in tokyo. if you look close you can see it's dark grey at the bottom and gets lighter towards the top. cool!

here's the lds temple. we went to church right next door- you can see the corner of the church building on the right side of the picture.

saw this while riding around in their little convertible mini. i'm betting she's not really named eve. so, it's fine.

 a japanese license plate.
that kanji must be really variable, because i can't believe that they would only have three digits in a city so populated! you know how crowded california's license plates are!

can you believe i still have two more posts on japan? next up, flowers & bugs!

*ryan is mr. o's brother, who works for nu skin and lives in tokyo with wife jen and their three kids

want more? see part one, part two, part three, part four, part five, part six, and part seven
