we went to the warriors over the wasatch air show at hill air force base over memorial day weekend. it was such a great time! loud, awesome, exhilarating airplane shows, my cute boys, and a monster truck? pretty awesome.
as fun as it is, and as envious as it makes mr. o (he wishes he was a jet-fighter pilot every time we see these!), it really is a cool thing to do around memorial day. i really have a lot of respect and admiration for the military personnel and their families. probably more so as a result of a husband who insists on me watching more than a healthy amount of war movies!
we have an incomprehensible amount of national debt, but there is also an immeasurable debt we owe to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice defending our freedom. it's easy to take that for granted, so i'm grateful for a holiday that reminds us.

Fun pics! I really like air shows (as I'm sure you know) but Audrey's got this phobia of loud noises. Its bad...
I do have a cute boy... :) We have our great uncle Wayne who is our war hero, right? Shot down and killed over Germany in WW II.
