my fans

i have a small collection of vintage fans which i am extremely fond of. they have found a new home within our home, on top of the dividing wall between our kitchen and living room. it makes me happy to see them so prominatly displayed!

this black beauty was my first. i found it in the auction section at a local thrift store and made a really high bid because i couldn't stand not to own it!

this little cutie soon doubled my 'collection'- it was a wedding present from a great friend of my sister. it has to be one of, if not the most, favorite wedding gift we recieved.

and this.. this is the most recent addition and perhaps the favorite. you can't beat the turquoise color! we had some of the sweetest neighbors, who spotted the black fan and said that their grandmother had an old fan they were sure i could have. who would've imagined it would be such a jewel!?

i also have this fan- a gift from mr. o before we were married. it is a has a great retro look, but is actually practical for use since it won't chop your fingers off if you get too close!
