so, i am really grateful to have a digital camera. i held out for a long time (well, technically i still haven't bought one) since my film camera was new- and cute. but i recently inherited a camera from my dad, one that had been for a 'swim' in the lake. the display doesn't work, so we use the viewfinder. but lately i've been really wanting a good digital camera- like a nikon. i'll keep dreaming... or start saving!
the family pictures a friend offered to take for us the other day just reinforced that desire. i love how they turned out. if you want to see more, or want her to take pictures for you, check out this blog.
welcome 2009! i have too many resolutions to list, or to tackle for that matter. so i am trying to narrow it down and prioritize. i just want to be a better me: better wife, mother, housekeeper, cook (ha!), artist, and friend (i say friend to include sister & daughter, fyi). i want to do yoga regularly. i want to be closer to my Father in Heaven and my Savior. i know what i need to do, it's just a matter of doing it. and i have to say, i try to constantly rededicate my efforts, but i do need a push. maybe a new year will be the ticket!
here's to resolutions, and trying each day to do better!
