a few things

last friday i got to meet my tiny, darling little nephew for the first time.

aah- is there anything in this world sweeter than a brand new baby?

i think not.

slowing down and breathing in that new baby smell and just gazing at the tiny features is something to be savoured.

i've been telling mr. o that no matter when it happens (three babies or a dozen), the time when i am done having babies is going be very difficult for me.

and it still amazes me that i can say that (and MEAN it! so sincerely!) when i really have a super hard time with new babies. but once that hard part is over i can't get enough. i am so in love with my boys..

today we got to spend a little more time with this newest addition to the family. look how alert he was! such blue eyes. i am smitten.

and, on another sweet note, i have a new favorite 'ice cream' place. i say 'ice cream' like that because i really mean frozen yogurt.

this place is so good.

it's called spoon me and can i just tell you how it is totally my kind of place?

there are three kinds of fro-yo: natural, acai (which is a berry), and green tea. then you get 3 add in's, like fresh -NOT frozen!!- fruit, or some cereal/candy type things. and i'm talking about fruit like mangoes, kiwi, pomegranate, raspberries, blackberries, pineapple, etc.

on top of that, their cups/spoons are biodegradable, the yogurt has no table sugar and no artificial colors, sweeteners or flavors. yeah. i told you, it's my kind of place.

not suprising, i suppose. our tastes are polar opposite when it comes to food. you couldn't find two people with less in common on their plates.

anyways, that's another topic for another day! and i am sure most anyone who reads this already knows the ins & outs of our appetites. yaaaawwn..
