it is always exciting and usually totally unexpected when i sell something in my etsy shop. yesterday i got my 49th & 50th sale, and i decided to celebrate by doing a giveaway here of my most popular item, (and the item that happened to BE the 49/50th sales)
the watch.
so- to enter just leave a comment here and i will randomly choose a winner on monday. i don't know how to 'close' the comments (i'm sure it's not too hard to figure out, but...) so you basically have until monday morning when i get to it! please only one comment per person.
the winner has their choice of any watch or bracelet listed in my shop.
good luck!

Formative Time of a Child's Life
Posted: 06 Jan 2009 01:00 AM CST
"I am impressed by countless mothers who have learned how important it is to focus on the things that can only be done in a particular season of life. If a child lives with parents for 18 or 19 years, that span is only one-fourth of a parent's life. And the most formative time of all, the early years in a child's life, represents less than one-tenth of a parent's normal life. It is crucial to focus on our children for the short time we have them with us and to seek, with the help of the Lord, to teach them all we can before they leave our homes. This eternally important work falls to mothers and fathers as equal partners. I am grateful that today many fathers are more involved in the lives of their children. But I believe that the instincts and the intense nurturing involvement of mothers with their children will always be a major key to their well-being. In the words of the proclamation on the family, 'Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children' (The Family: A Proclamation to the World," Ensign, Nov. 1995, 102)."

Congratulations on your 50th sale on Etsy, that is really cool. ..someday.. I'm almost half way there.
congratulations! and i would LOVE to win one of your darling watches!! how fun!
Eve!!! How are you? Your stuff is so cute. I have a lot of similar tastes in fabric. It was funny to look and name a few in your pictures. You remind me of Grandma- making the cute little things you do. I go to Lehi every so often so I will find Broadbents. Let's keep in touch.
Hi Eve! I found you blog through Liesel. I agree with Kristin about you and Grandma. The diaper laundry bag looked just like the one Grandma had in her bathroom. I have just recently become interested in sewing. I made some doll clothes for Adele. I also agree with everyone else about you watches. count me in.
Eve I just love looking at the crafty things you're doing! You're my hero!
I'm very excited to hang out with you tonight!
Oh and pick me pick me!!
haha, tricky, fun way to get comments, Evie!!! YAY!

You should know by now I'm your biggest fan! Thanks for helping make me a better person with your "daily gems."
