trade number two

this is roger. he came to us all wrapped up like a burrito:

i have had a crush on roger for months. he was going to be featured last friday, but on a whim i asked theAnecdotes (etsy shop) if they were interested in trading, and guess what? they were.

finny looks so cute in his new grampa sweater. the buttons are HUGE! they remind me of artichoke hearts. i think roger needs some minor surgury, though. i am going to stitch up the placket and stitch the button holes closed, because the neck opening is big enough that you don't need to really use the buttons, and the holes are so big to accomodate the mammoth buttons that when finny inevitably pulls on them, it almost turns the sweater inside out!

so, my purple rain pillow has found a new home in pennsylvania, and i have a funky new sweater to dress up my baby in!

“Do not try to control your children. Instead, listen to them, help them to learn the gospel, inspire them, and lead them toward eternal life. You are God’s agents in the care of children He has entrusted to you. Let His divine influence remain in your hearts as you teach and persuade.”
