i've been looking through these great vintage craft books & i am so in love. they make it seem like everyone made everything for their homes by hand, and it's such a lovely idea.
there are lots of pictures of couples crafting together, as well as just men or children. (and of course lots of capable women!) i really like this man making wooden cars.
there is a wealth of information in the better homes & gardens one- even instructions to make a loom! 
these chairs are so great. i am thinking of pillows with these mushroom, flower & fruit designs..
totally reminicent of the 60's, right? makes me giddy. i want to do this stuff to my clothes.
i think this soft activity book is adorable. i need to find some good 100% wool felt in bright colors. anyone know where to get it locally (in utah)?oh.. and a note to my sweet sisters- what's mine is yours, just let me know if you want a look at these!
